Sanmenxia Zhongyuan Measuring Instrument Co., Ltd., formerly known as Zhongyuan Measuring Instrument Factory, is China’s first precision measuring instrument manufacturer, established with national investment. On January 6, 1965, it was officially named Zhongyuan Measuring Instrument Factory, with approval from the Second Bureau of the Ministry of First Machinery Industry, under document number (65) 3/11.
